This Privacy Policy explains how Catch Cat ("Catch Cat", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Catch Cat mobile application and website at catchcat.fun (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information — such as your email address and username when you create an account.
- Cat photos and card data — the photos you upload and the cards generated from them, including names, taglines, and stats.
- Usage and device data — such as app interactions, pages viewed, approximate region, device type, operating system, and identifiers, collected automatically.
- Support communications — information you provide when you contact us.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service and its features (including generating, sharing, and verifying cards);
- Improve and develop new features and understand how the Service is used;
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support;
- Protect the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Analytics & Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used. Google Analytics may set cookies or use similar identifiers to collect usage and device information. You can learn more and opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run the Service (such as hosting, storage, and analytics), under appropriate confidentiality obligations;

- In connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition;
- When you choose to share a card publicly. Shared cards and verification do not reveal your identity, exact photo source, or location.
5. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days), except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
6. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@catchcat.fun.
7. Account & Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time using our dedicated page: catchcat.fun/delete-account.html. This removes your account, uploaded cat photos, and generated cards, subject to the retention exceptions described above.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
