Terms of Service

Welcome to Catch Cat. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Catch Cat ("Catch Cat", "we", "us", or "our") and govern your access to and use of the Catch Cat mobile application, website at catchcat.fun, and related services (together, the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Catch Cat turns photos of your real cat into collectible digital cards with playful stats, levels, and rarity. You can create and collect cards, level them up, share them, and verify that a shared card is genuine. Card stats are generated for entertainment and do not represent any real assessment of an animal's health or characteristics.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.

3. Your Account

You may need an account to use some features. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the photos and other content you upload ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display it solely to operate and improve the Service and to provide features you use, such as generating and sharing cards.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to Your Content, that it depicts an animal you are entitled to photograph, and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

5. Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes anyone's rights;
• Upload unlawful, harmful, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit content;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated means except as expressly permitted;
• Misuse the verification feature to mislead others or misrepresent a card.

6. Card Verification

The verification feature returns card data (such as stats and rarity) from our servers so a shared card can be confirmed as genuine. It does not expose a card owner's identity, photo, or location. We do not guarantee that verification will always be available or error-free.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and artwork (excluding Your Content), is owned by Catch Cat and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties, including app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play), hosting providers, and analytics (Google Analytics). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Catch Cat will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 50.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account at catchcat.fun/delete-account.html. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Catch Cat operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
